Bell launches online Video Store Fame it!

Bell Canada today announced the launch of an online video store for PC and Archos portable media player owners which offers more than 1,500 downloadable movies and television shows for purchase or rental. Purchased movies are delivered in 720 x 480 maximum resolution, 1,500-2,200 kbps average bit rate and range in price from $4.99 for older less popular catalogue items up to $19.99 for popular new releases such as Cloverfield and BeoWulf.

That is great news to anyone who is looking for a Windows-based alternative for their digital video fix. 1,500 titles doesn't seem like that many considering how many movies and television shows are out there, but it's a good starting point, I suppose.
