It's easy to screw up a game peripheral: Shoddy and useless devices like Nintendo's Power Pad seemed like a good idea in theory, but in actuality were little more than trophies awarded to the Most Gullible Shoppers. Then there are the truly bizarre devices, products that nobody actually understands. The NES Power Glove operated on the assumption that gaming was all well and good, but who wanted to hold all that controller when you could awkwardly duct tape it to the outside of your wrist instead?
