We've already seen BenQ's 16:9 E-series monitors, but the above pictured image is of BenQ's M-series monitor (M2400HD), also with 16:9 aspect ratio. Reportedly, BenQ will release its 16:9 format M-Series with full HD resolution (1920x1080) in 3Q of 2008. The M-series include M2200HD and M2400HD widescreen displays. Both of them sports sophisticated white glossy bezel, 2.0 mega pixel webcam, integrated microphone, and speakers.

Sometimes Sci-Fi themed speakers can come off overly cheesy. Usually due to too many details on very cheap materials. This new USB speaker is fairly simple in looks and manages to just look cool without being over the top. Somehow, Brando has managed to come out with a lighted speaker without it looking like it should be paired with a blacklight or lava lamp. Although it still looks overly fitting for a geeky room, it still is not what I’d call tacky.

Linksys by Cisco is outing the WRT610N simultaneous dual-N band router that allows it to use 802.11n WiFi on both 5 and 2.4GHz at the same time. Your higher throughput, shorter-distance devices can get the highest-speed 802.11n access, while at the same time as the rest of your devices can get the usual, more compatible 2.4GHz access. The router is available now for $200.

Nokia has announced the Nokia Wireless Loopset which is something my dad's gonna love. Not that he's a big fan of Nokia, it's just that the Loopset is designed for those with hearing aids, like the one he uses. It works with T-coil equipped hearing aids or cochlear implants, and slings around the user's neck making it more comfortable for users. The Loopset also works with Bluetooth-ready headsets.

Vauxhall Motors is a British subsidiary of General Motors. But what's really cool about this company is that they have developed a camera system that takes about 30 pictures of the road in a second and analyzes them with recognition software that detects all the speed limit signs that the car passes through and then posts the current limit on the dashboard of the car.

The already impressive Roku streaming box will expand its services beyond Netflix's VOD adding new "big name" content providers in the near future. While the existing Netflix offerings are pretty impressive, the addition of some of the free on-demand TV options could set Roku apart from Apple TV and Vudu. Roku is taking the coy approach for now, but rumors of a flash-enabled browser to stream Hulu (which now streams at 480p resolution), Youtube and the various individual network sites are both plausible and awesome.

Jason Kline's gesture-based remote looks cool, but might not be practical for everyday usage. You adjust the volume with the left knob and the channel with the right, but there's no place to enter in buttons. It does allow you to keep going with the knob turning concept of old time TVs while still allowing you to be lazy on the couch. Not that we'd ever use it, but it might be a decent concept for octogenarians who still miss the old days.

Remember those pig earbuds only being sold in Japan? Well now we have our own pig themed speakers and they can’t have them. Although, likely they probably have their own and got them before us. In my head though, it’s that we get them all to ourselves. These little speakers are of course in true piggy form and are powered by USB. It’s an individual speaker, the type you tote around with you to plug in your iPod at random locations.

I know that most of us have already made the jump towards GPS navigation systems, but there are bound to be folks who have not yet taken that next step. Enter the Digital Talking Compass, a precursor to all things GPS. This digital compass mounts on your dashboard to help get you where you want to go! A clear human voice gives accurate headings.

I don’t know about you, but I have so many business cards. They are in my pocket, my backpack, and somehow they are scattered all over my house. So if I ever do get around to calling that contact, I can’t find the card. I usually end up looking up their information online and call them that way. Of course, I could always just take the information off the card and put it some kind of database, but that certainly takes a lot of time for some mindless work. Sometimes I wonder why we even have business cards in a digital age.

If you’re an addict for reading at night and have a tendency to bother your significant other, this little light might be the better way to go. It looks a bit easier to point in different directions away from anyone else that happens to be sharing your bed. Due to the fact it can rotate up to 270 degrees. The other cool perk is that you can fasten it to the headboard or railing on your bed frame. At first glance I thought it was just a square box you set down.
