Roberts debuts its solarDAB radio, which boasts of being the world's first solar-powered DAB radio. The radio features a solar panel integrated into the top of the unit, which absorbs direct sunlight in order to power the radio. If the level indicator on the display screen shows the strength of the solar level as over half, the unit is being powered directly by the sun. Once fully charged, the batteries will last up to 27 hours, even in the dark. The radio can also be used and charged via the mains.

Memorex has a crazy (and expensive) new DVD-R line called SimpleSave, which automatically scans your computer for photos and videos and burns them to disc. From the description, these $14.99 for 5 discs sound like they're perfect for your parents or grandparents who don't really know how to use a burner and have photos scattered all over their machines. If they've got more pics and vids than can fit on one disc, the software will tell them how many more they need to buy and will parse and burn accordingly.

MP3 players come in all shapes and sizes. Some are loaded with every possible feature except the kitchen sink, while others contain large-capacity hard drives seemingly capable of holding more music than is stored in the vaults of the Library of Congress. Diversity is the spice of life, but it also means that no two models of MP3 players are the same.

Oh boy. Another format war? If Kaleidoscape has it’s way, you bet. Believing it’s line of overpriced 1080p DVD players have far superior resolution than the current king of the next generation hill (Blue-Ray), Kaleidoscape is willing to step over the bodies of one HDDVD player after another and challenge BlueRay for the DVD prize.

Are you sick and tired of in-flight movies on offer that are pretty stale, and often there is nothing being shown that you’d like to watch? Well, United Airlines has changed all that by being the first U.S. carrier to offer both iPod and iPhone connectivity to its in-flight entertainment system, letting passengers enjoy the movies they want to watch on a personal 15.4″ display, and best of all is, your iPod/iPhone will remain charged as long as it is plugged in.

Summer is here! And that means hours, if not days lazily lounging poolside enjoying the summer sun, the music, and a refreshing beverage. Too bad you have to get out for a refill. Or do you? A remote controlled floating tray that can hold up to five drinks and a snack in the middle compartment. So, guests can simply lounge away on their floating air bed, and when the Radio Controlled Beverage and Snack Float sputters by, they simply place their empty aboard and await a refill.

Now here’s a webcam that does more than transmit your immediate surroundings to people on the other end of the Internet. This webcam features three PC video interactive games - Kungfu, Super Knight and Funny Stair. It is capable of capturing your real-time moves and translating them into action on the screen. Sounds as though this is something you would play in your own room as you certainly don’t want to be caught in an embarrassing position at the office while busting out some Bruce Lee moves, do you?
