Sure the Bravia Internet Video Link is a dubious use of $300 (even with YouTube), but there are at least two Bravia add-on modules in Sony's oven that are tasty and smart: A wireless HDMI module—neato factor is self-explanatory, especially since the transmitter takes up to four HDMI connections—and a slot loading DVD player. It sounds weird to say, but having a hidden DVD player on the side of a flat panel TV is actually nice, plus it's integrates with the cross media bar (XMB). Only downside is that they both need external power. Check 'em out up close.

The other day, I was driving down the road, and I changed lanes. I thought I was far enough away from the other vehicles, but then I heard a loud honk. I quickly realized that the car was a lot closer than I thought it was. Considering that a lot of mirrors have that “objects in mirror are closer than they appear” warning, it makes it too easy to miscalculate the distance of a vehicle in the side view mirrors.

Indiana Jones may be the current talk of the town, but it's not the only big summer blockbuster worth discussing right now. With Iron Man already out, and Wall-E, The Dark Knight and The Incredible Hulk still to come, there's plenty of movie goodness still to be had. Speed Racer ?...let's not go there.

Many times the first people to utilize a new technology is the entertainment industry. Companies figure that if there products are seen being used in the public by performance figures that the consumers will flock to the stores. In many cases this might be true, especially with the technology of touch screens. The ATTIGO TT touch screen turntable is one awesome looking piece of gear. And while the number of professional DJs might not be enough to make us go totally crazy for the ATTIGO, it certainly is damn cool.

ZeeVee has announced the launch of its ZvBox today, bringing yet another consumer electronics product that is used for watching Internet TV, online video or computer content on that spanking new HDTV in your living room. This sounds like a timely device considering the explosion of Internet TV and movie downloads that have so far been confined to the (relatively) small display on your computer - unless you’re one of those folks who prefer working with your PC hooked up to your HDTV.

When was the last time you found yourself in a store looking to purchase a new CD player? I’m not talking about one for your car, or even a portable one, but just a CD player for a room in your house. If you’re anything like me, it’s been a very long time. This is why companies that still make such devices are trying their hardest to make CD players more appealing to consumers. Take this strange CD-T300 Pro for example.
