AMD and NVIDIA have decided they're done waiting for Intel to give them the data they need to create USB 3.0 compliant products, and plan to launch their own spec to launch against the USB 3.0 data protocol. Intel says they haven't finalized the spec and want to prevent people from developing hardware based on multiple versions. AMD and NVIDIA aren't satisfied with such an answer and feel Intel is trying to gain a sizeable lead on market share.

Did you see Lam sweating it out in his Wii Fit review? Did that cause you rush out to the store, hands trembling with anticipation, in an attempt to procure one for yourself? Of course it did, but you probably came home empty-handed because the thing was basically sold out weeks before it even launched. And now we know why: the US Dollar sucks, and it's causing the notoriously conservative Nintendo to shift stock to places like Europe and Japan.

Now isn’t this one of the more unique alarm clocks you have laid your eyes upon? Sure, it won’t be able to just fly off when it rings or roll off the table to hide under your bed, but at least it offers what other alarm clocks can’t - an additional four USB 2.0 ports to further increase your connectivity on your desk. Guess this means you’d best place this at your office table instead of in the bedroom. Each of the USB 2.0 ports will be able to be rotated to 90 degrees, making it a snap to use up all four ports without interfering with one another.
