It’s another robot with a cutesy name, SPYKE the WiFi Spy Robot. It’s due to be sold under the Meccano brand name which is pretty appropriate as you’ll have to make him your self. Once constructed you’ll be able to control Spyke from any Internet enabled PC, he incorporates VOIP and a web-cam so you’ll be able to send him on dangerous spying missions and watch the results from the other side of the world. When SPYKE is running low on robot juice he’ll use his auto parking system to dock with his recharging system.

The new Real World Golf game for PlayStation 2 lets you play a round of golf in the comfort of your own living room. With a foot-long plastic club attached to a motion capture unit, your swing will be mirrored by an on-screen player. According to the BBC, “Real World Golf offers a completely novel gaming experience and for that it has to be applauded.” Players can choose between a range of amateur and professional clubs. Amateur clubs do not hit very far, but the ball will generally go straight. Professional clubs require more skill; you could make longer drives but the ball will be harder to control. The game features five different courses and various modes of play, including tournaments, match play and even party games.

“Photo wallets” are nothing new - devices to back up your memory card to a hard drive have become common in the past few years. The Hyperdrive has a rechargable Li-Ion battery, takes a whole list of card formats that I’m not going to bother retyping (most of them), shows up as a PC hard drive via USB and has the usual “press one button to dump the card” function.

Tomato is designed and built in Korea, yet that should not really affect the sales or demand, after the are a whole host of electrical and come to think of it many other products too, that are built in China, the quality is excellent.
