Panasonic the Japanese electronics giant have come up with two new versions of a portable DVD player. They claim that the DVD player models LX87 S and the LS80 K have a battery that will last for up to twelve hours, which of course is absolutely fantastic and compared to the other portable DVD players that are on the market there is no comparison on viewing time. The LS80 K is the first model in the range, this features a eight and a half inch screen, has JPEG and MP3 compatibility, plus with this machine there is the added bonus of having the ability to use a SD and SDHC card as the player does have card reader capabilities. The LX87 S is exactly the same as the previous model but with the ability to watch TV as it has a 1 SEG TV tuner combined into the package.

When you think of a consumer focused remote control which doesn’t require an installer to put in, what comes to mind? A $20 universal remote from Radio Shack? Logitech is hoping you’ll think outside of the box with the recent unveiling of their latest Harmony remote control called the Logitech Harmony 1000 Advanced Universal Remote.
The Harmony 1000 trades in the plethora of buttons and stereotypical remote look for a sleek new industrial style design which consists mainly of an LCD and just a few basic controls. The overall design of the Harmony 1000 is fairly thin and rectangular in shape. The 3.5-inch color LCD screen is touch-sensitive, designed to replace the typical buttons common on other universal remotes and even the older Harmony remotes. The Harmony 1000 displays the most important, relevant controls to which device you are operating, according to Logitech. In an example they cited, “when watching TV using a digital video recorder (DVR), people will see on-screen the standard skip forward, skip back, record and pause buttons necessary to controlling a DVR. But when they are listening to CDs, they will see the track controls they need to navigate their music.”

Militarized USB drive is very strong, well it should be if it is called militarized. It should be strong enough to withstand those tough conditions that are on the battlefields. It weighs only 165 gram. It is heavier than most of modern USB drives but it is much stronger. It is made in a thick cigarette form and has a metal body so it can withstand hits and falls on the ground. So you will not have to worry about dropping it on the ground or even stepping on it. Besides, I think it would still be OK if a car runs over it because the body is so strong.
The temperature levels that it can stand amaze pretty much. It will work properly in winter and summer, under the burning sun and in the ice. It can work properly from -40 C (-40 F) and up to + 85 C (+ 185 F). Not many computers can work at those temperatures so having this flash drive will make you sure that you will not loose you data. And the most exciting and most useless feature is that it can withstand the effects of nuclear blast. It will not be able to withstand the direct blast but it will not brake because of radiation damage or something like that.
