Monkey see, monkey do - or so the adage goes. Well, if you’re one who has a junior version of yourself imitating your every move, chances are the little tyke would have asked for a notebook or computer of his own by now. Well, why not give in to his fancies this time round with the LLUON Kidscom computer from Korea? It seems to be equipped with what is the most colorful touch screen we’ve laid our eyes upon to date - hopefully this doesn’t mean that they’ll be wearing glasses sooner than their counterparts.

Right from the heart of the Terminator comes the nuclear fuel cell that can be the main life support for these lethal bots. I don’t know if this particular cell has come from the heart of Arnie himself. But what gives me a lead for my findings is that it does show some traits by the means of its purpose. It’s a lighter. Yes, the same thing that gets Arnie all his adrenaline doses through those bloodless veins. Pick one for yourself

PETALING JAYA: Genting group’s recent subscription of US$100mil senior secured MGM Mirage Inc notes has raised the possibility of Genting’s potential entry into the Macau gaming market, say analysts. CIMB Investment Bank said it would not be surprised if the subscription was more than an interest-yielding exercise given recent press reports that the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement has advised that MGM Mirage should be directed to disengage from its Macau joint venture (JV) partner Pansy Ho, who has a 50% stake in MGM Grand Macau.

I've got to give this Q-Sound headphone concept from Shepeleff Stephen top marks for its design. Not only does it look great, it is also innovative in its use of solar technology. After all, it makes sense to power Bluetooth headphones with a small solar panel stretched across the headband—an area that could be easily exposed to the sun.

It has been a while since we heard from Creative and their Zen series of MP3 Players. The Zen Krystal came out a year ago with the Zen Mozaic, and they have recently unveiled two more in the Zen line. The Zen Mozaic EZ300 comes in 4 to 8 gigabyte models that feature a 1.8 inch TFT color display, an FM radio, a built-in speaker, a voice recorder, as well as an alarm clock. It has a mosaic keypad that is a “one-of-a-kind” design, and uses a plug and play system for dragging and dropping your songs.

Korean based mintpass is launching the mintpad 2.0 which is a multimedia network device. It will be released later this year but apparently no more news is given of it. Some of the details we do know of this is that it has an integrated GPS and WiBro, a metal body, and a touchscreen display that won't exceed seven inches. The current mintpad sports a display of only 2.8 inches. Then again no one knows of the new one yet. only time and patience can say more on this.

Want a Palm Pre at Best Buy on launch day? Better get that sleeping bag ready, because rumor has it that there'll be an average of only four per store. Four!
According to Boy Genius, Best Buy will be getting about 4,250 Pres in total to spread out to around 1,000 stores. Not too many! This gives credence to the rumor that there are only going to be about 30,000 units in total available on launch day, which should make for a good number of people leaving empty handed.

Isn’t it amazing that so many people take so many pictures to “preserve their memories”, only to have digital pics stored all over the place? I’m betting that you have hundreds, if not thousands, of digital snapshots scattered in thumb drives, cameras, and PC hard drives throughout your house. This is not counting the low resolution ones taken by your cellular phone. I swear, the digital revolution was the best and worst thing to happen to photography.

Woohoo! Microsoft have done it again. They have marked their territory on their very own technology and made sure that the whole world has got to know about it. The swishing action explained by Hermione Granger will surely be the best manual guide to using the Wii remote. The application for the patent includes the architectural of the remote’s functionality. It also has the finer details like the biometrics and inter-wand communication.

If you find the thought of eating lunch off a toilet seat less than appetizing, consider this: the average desktop is home to more than 400 times as many bacteria.
A 2002 study by researchers at the University of Arizona -- funded by the makers of Clorox bleach -- found that office toilet seats were home to about 49 germs per square inch, while desktops and telephones contained 21,000 and 25,000, respectively.
